The Greek desert which resembles … Sahara

Enjoy an enchanting flight over the Desert of Greece, a place where the sand covers everything and there is little vegetation and is close to the Thines Vartholomio of Ilia.

Its area is about 1,000 acres.

Thousands of years of sand accumulation from the western winds that usually blow in the area have created this eerie landscape that resembles … Sahara.

The minimal trees that exist are trying to survive in adverse conditions.

The dunes (the sandy mountains) dominate the area and make the spectacle of flying above them unique.

TAIPED has attempted to exploit the area by selling it for tourism development (construction of golf courses) but has not yet found a buyer.

Enjoy the flight in the video of user haanity on Youtube …
