Corinth Canal to become Athletic Center to boost sports tourism in Greece

A series of sporting events will take place in Greece’s Corinth Canal in the coming weeks, aiming at promoting the region internationally, as a center for sports tourism.

Last year, 300 athletes and kayak, canoe and SUP paddlers attempted this special pass through the canal with success.

The competition will feature the following categories of boats: SUP 14’0 ”, SUP 12’6 ”, SUP ALL AROUND, SUP OPEN, SUP 14’0 ”, SUP 12’6 ”, Kayak Sprint K1, K2, K4 , C1, C2, Kayak Slalom K1, Kanoe Sprint / Slalom C1, C2, Surf Ski and Summer Tourism (sit-on-top, sit-in, inflatable).
