Over 800 delegates from 35 countries, including high ranking officials of European and international organisations are expected to participate in the Maritime Cyprus 2017 conference which is hosted in October, in Limassol.
Entitled “Shipping: Yesterday’s World, Tomorrow’s Today”, the conference which has been organised every two years since 1989 by Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, the Cyprus Shipping Chamber and the Cyprus Union of Shipowners, is scheduled to take place between 9 and 11 October, at Evagoras Lanitis Centre.
Delegates will be welcomed on the evening of October 8 at a reception during which Cyprus President Nicos Anastasiades will present the “Maritime Award 2017”, while he is also due to officially inaugurate the conference on October 9.
