Greece’s ski resorts can be converted into theme parks that will attract more visitors and will connect tourist activity with the local economy.
One of these ski resorts is Kalavryta, which can provide additional services such as walks in the forest and accomodation in luxury hotels, its president Leonidas Spyropoulos pointed out in an interview with the Athens-Macedonian News Agency.
More than 20,000 people visited the ski resort of Kalavryta during the Christmas period proving that Greece remains one of the top destinations in the world for skiing and winter tourism.
