Preparations for the European Youth Championships and Trophy 2018 to be held in Patras from 7 to 14 April 2018 are escalating.
The event is part of the European Championships for Laser 4.7, a class which is a precursor to the Olympic categories of Laser.
More than 400 sailors from 40 countries are expected to meet in the waters of the Patraikos Gulf, for various age groups of teenagers, juniors and girls.
European championships will be “open” with participants from Saudi Arabia, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Hong Kong, etc.
The races are held under the auspices of the European Federation and are organized by the Athletic Sailing Club of Rio Patras “Iasson”, whose primary aim is the promotion of sailing among youth.
