Greek port of Igoumenitsa wins EU’s sustainable mobility award

The city of Igoumenitsa, a coastal city in northwestern Greece, was declared the winner of an EU award for sustainable mobility for small towns in the 2017 European Mobility Week event held in Brussels on Wednesday, ANA reports.

Igoumenitsa competed with Lindau (Germany) and Tivat (Montenegro). The winners were selected by an independent panel of mobility and transport experts and will each receive a promotional video showcasing their achievements.
