Japanese, Russian and Dutch TV programs to be shot on location in Greece

Three foreign television productions to be shown in Japan, Russia and the Netherlands will help promote Greece’s beautiful landscapes and countryside abroad, according to ANA.

Visiting Athens on July 24-27, a Blue Circle television crew will be filming for a programme to be shown by the Dutch television station KRO-NCRV on September 2 that will explore Athens as a city break destination – a selection assisted by GNTO Netherlands.

The Russian network Russia 1 was recently in Thessaloniki, Pella, Halkidiki and Meteora while it will be completing shooting in Athens this week in order to create five four-minute videos that will be shown throughout the summer, three times a day, by the popular morning show “Utro Rossii”.

A Japanese television crew for Fuji TV was filming on the island of Ikaria in June in order to produce a one-hour episode of the programme “To live in extreme places of the world”.
