The Aristotle University of Thessaloniki will create an international cultural center dedicated to the Greek philosopher and scientist Aristotle, near the ancient Greek city of Stagira where he was born, in northern Greece, ANA reports.
In cooperation with the municipality of Aristotle, the cultural center will aim at studying and promoting his work globally.
UNESCO declared 2016 as the anniversary year of Aristotle and the World Congress “Aristotle 2400 Years” with participants from 42 countries took place at the northern Greek university.
