International film and audiovisual professionals (production/filming houses, producers/executive producers and local audiovisual industry professionals and associations) from Europe, India, Russia, North America and Cyprus met at the first Cyprus Film Summit, in Nicosia, to discuss the latest developments in the industry in Cyprus and witness first-hand all the country has to offer as a natural filming studio.
The Summit was held by the Invest Cyprus, the Cyprus Tourism Organization (CTO) and the Press and Information Office (PIO) of the Republic of Cyprus on 10th October 2018 at the Filoxenia Conference Centre.
The Cyprus Film Summit 2018 represents an ideal platform to network and learn more about Cyprus’ advantages as a filming destination and the local incentives scheme, which was recently approved by the Government of the Republic of Cyprus in order to encourage investors to elect Cyprus as their ideal filming production destination.
