Foreign film and TV producers and associations attended a presentation by Deputy Digital Policy, Telecoms and Information Minister Lefteris Kretsos in Brussels on Tuesday on government initiatives and a new legal framework encouraging companies to film in Greece, ANA reports.
He outlined the sites and facilities Greece offered, as well as the funding tools, the support in production, co-production and post-production, and the availability of specialists. Interest by attendees focused primarily on collaborative projects with Greek production companies, technical support (studios and production), and technical staff available in Greece. They also expressed interest in visiting Greece soon to explore potential collaboration with local agencies in the audiovisual sector or investing directly in projects.
