Three-hour stoppage at antiquities sites and museums in Greece on Friday

Guards at ancient sites and museums will go on a three-hour warning work stoppage on Friday, from 08.00 to 11.00, to highlight “urgent issues that need immediate solutions”, their union PEYFA said on Monday, according to ANA.

The guards released a list of demands that include the immediate hiring of 200 guards announced in 2016, issues relating to qualifications for managerial positions, as well as a single schedule for all sites and museums in Greece.
