Greece’s Rural Development and Food ministry, in cooperation with the Education Ministry, are considering a plan for the training of all farmers, Minister Stavros Arachovitis said in a statement to the Athens-Macedonian News Agency (ANA) on Monday.
“We have a common belief with the Minister of Education that the farmer needs continuous training in new technological capabilities, geotechnical developments, aquaculture industry, climate change, the new demands and consumer preferences and the reduction of production costs,” the minister noted.
