Greece announces creation of international film studio in Thessaloniki

Greek Deputy Digital Policy, Telecommunications and Media Minister Lefteris Kretsos visited the headquarters of Nu Boyana Film Studios in Bulgaria on Wednesday, ANA reports.

The studios are part of the group Nu Image, which belongs the American production company Millenium Pictures.

Kretsos was given a tour of the facilities by the heads and founders of the group, Avi and Yariv Lerner, and talked with members of the company. The goal of Kretsos’ visit was the construction of a film studio of the Nu Image group in Thermi, Thessaloniki and the strengthening of the bonds of cooperation between the group and the EKOME (National Centre of Audiovisual, Media and Communication) which was officially announced at the Thessaloniki International Fair in September 2018.
