Six physics professors at the National Technological University of Athens (known as the Polytechnic) are among 200 top researchers on the list of 672 most influential researchers worldwide, issued by Webometrics annually for the field of high-energy physics, ANA repors.
Professor Georgios Tsipolitis was placed 45th, leading the 11 Greeks researchers included on the Most Highly Cited Researcher, h>100 list. They are followed by Emmanouil Dris (73rd), Theodoros Alexopoulos (74th), Stavros Maltezos (87), Evangelos Gazis (121) and Constantinos Kousouris (191).
