Popular Chinese Travel Show films on Greek Islands of Santorini and Kefalonia

Two episodes of the popular Chinese celebrity travel television show called “Slow Life: Feel the World” were filmed on the Greek islands of Santorini and Kefalonia recently as part of its second season lineup, according to greekreporter.com.

The invitation to film in Greece was sent out by the office of the Greek National Tourism Organization in China, as part of the organization’s strategy to attract foreign film productions as well as to promote Greece on the international market.

Popular actress and singer Dilireba Dilimulati, escorted by a 50-member crew, visited the scenic Greek islands in July to film two episodes of the show, which will be broadcast on the online video platform “IQIYI” as well as the Chinese website “Sina Weibo.”

The show “Slow Life: Feel the World,” targeting high-income, highly educated viewers in China, was launched on Sina Weibo in 2018. It follows celebrities who are seen traveling to vacation destinations around the world.

The first season of the show had an impressive 400 million video views, and Dilireba Dilimulati herself has more than 63 million followers on Weibo.

Dilimulati was voted “Most Popular New Actress” at China’s 2015 National Drama Awards. She also won the “Best New Artist” award at the 2016 China-UK Film Festival and the “Best Supporting Actress” award at the 23rd Shanghai TV Festival.
