The ski centre of Mt. Voras (Kaimaktsalan) in the region of Pella of northwestern Greece, that was closed on Tuesday for safety reasons due to a snowstorm, opened on Wednesday (Christmas Day) and welcomed its visitors with fresh snow.
“The weather conditions are better today and the ski centre is operating normally,” noted the director of the ski centre Thanos Panayiotopoulos to Athens-Macedonian News Agency. “Two of the four lifts and two of the children’s’ lifts are operating,” he said adding that the road to the centre is open and accessible to visitors along with the chalet, the ski schools and the equipment store.
