Greek Ministry of Education bill posted for public consultation to May 8

A draft bill introducing changes to school curricula was posted on Wednesday for public consultation on opengov.gr.

At a televised presentation earlier in the day, the minister announced changes would be implemented in the 2020-2021 academic year. Some changes include the introduction of English at pre-school level, more emphasis on foreign languages and information technology courses, foreign-language BA programs by all Greek universities, summer courses, and joint/dual majors between Greek and foreign universities.
