BOSTON – Hellenic College and Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology (HCHC) announced that classes will begin for the Fall 2020 semester on Tuesday, September 15, 2020, with students expected to return to campus by Friday, September 11. Student Orientation will take place on Saturday, September 12. As usual, HCHC will be closed for the Feast of the Celebration of the Holy Cross on Monday, September 14.
Although no definitive answer has been determined yet about whether classes will resume on campus or remain online, moving back the start date for orientation and classes by two and half weeks provides school officials with the added time needed to make this determination, based on government directives and advice. In order to accommodate a condensed schedule, HCHC will remain open on Monday and Tuesday of Thanksgiving week for classes and hold final exams up until December 22.
