Nea Potidea, Halkidiki, was elected by German television to shoot one of the most popular reality shows, protothema.gr reports.
The production chose to shoot in Greece, as it is regarded as one of the safest countries due to the coronavirus pandemic.
In order not to postpone the popular show, an impressive and luxurious villa in N. Potidea was chosen.
Based on information from halkidikinews.gr, the producers and players of the reality show, who have been in Halkidiki for a month and a half, said they were fascinated by the beaches of the area and the quality of the sea water.
The show is a German version of the British “Love Island”. Ten singles are put together and reside in a villa for a few weeks and need to get to know each other and have a relationship. During these weeks, they face various trials.
The show will start airing on German television in September.
