Cyprus’ alternative forms of tourism benefited to a great extent from the PGA European Golf Tour – Cyprus Open 2020, which was held on the island. The tournament took place from October 29 to November 1, 2020, at the fields of the Aphrodite Hills resort in Paphos, CNA reports.
According to an announcement by the Deputy Ministry of Tourism, this major sporting event attracted the biggest names of professional golf players in the world.
