Underwater Peristera Shipwreck site in Alonissos island to open for visitors

The visitable underwater archaeological site in the sea off the Greek island of Alonissos, the Peristera Shipwreck, will open to visitors on June 1 in accordance with the agreement signed by the culture ministry, the Thessaly region, and Alonissos municipality, a culture ministry announcement said.

The island of Alonissos is among the destinations which are on the rise for 2021, according to National Geographic Traveller.
