Public consultation in Cyprus for 'glamping' bill ongoing since June 7

A public consultation has been ongoing in Cyprus since June 7 on a bill which would regulate the operation of tourism camping sites and luxury camping sites, known as “glamping”, the Deputy Ministry of Tourism announced on Wednesday, according to CNA.

The bill is set to introduce new provisions modernizing the exiting regulatory framework in Cyprus, including provisions which would regulate the operation of luxury camping sites, known as “glamping”, “a new international trend in tourism, which has been growing rapidly around the world and has to do with a luxury stay in the countryside,” the Ministry said in a press release.
