The footpaths of Andros island inspire article in hiking magazine 'Wandern & Reisen'

The footpaths on the island of Andros were featured in an article by the popular German hiking tourism magazine, Wandern & Reisen, ANA reports.

According to the magazine, the island’s network of footpaths, covering dozens of kilometers, is the reason why the Cyclades islands are on the map of the best walking destinations.

The six-page feature article transports readers to the ancient footpaths, which have been incorporated into an extensive walking network, giving maps and routes and promoting the volunteer work done by the association Andros Routes. It also praises the local cuisine and island’s varied landscape, which combines wild and green mountainous scenery, rejuvenating springs, blue-green sea, and a number of architectural influences.
