Piraeus Port Authority (PPA) on Monday announced it was the Gold Sponsor of the Hellenic Olympic Team at the Beijing Winter Olympics (February 4-20), ANA reports.
In an announcement, PPA noted the sponsorship was signed by its chairman, Yu Zenggang, and Hellenic Olympic Committee President Spyros Capralos at a farewell event held on January 29 at the Hellenic Olympic Committee premises in Chalandri, NE of Athens. The event was also attended by the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Greece Xiao Junzheng and the Greek Deputy Minister of Culture & Sports Lefteris Avgenakis.
