British reality show “Loaded in Paradise” filmed in Greek islands

A new British reality show called “Loaded in Paradise” by the ITV network will be filmed in Greece, according to greekreporter.com.

The show will feature pairs island-hopping across Greece and spending a load of money on their journey. A total of five pairs of competitors will have access to one gold card filled with 50,000 euros, but only one pair can have it at a time.

The point of the game is for the pairs to find the card and then spend it on a party-filled trip in paradise.

The reality show is sure to show off the stunning natural beauty of the Greek islands as participants travel from one beautiful locale to the next in search of cash-filled cards.

While the show will be full of island-hopping and adventure, the show will also feature drama-filled moments when the pairs all meet up at a “safe house” on the Greek islands where competitors will rest up every two days.

Based on an announcement by ITV, the show will also feature an unexpected twist at the end.

“Loaded In Paradise brings a fun and fast-paced new format to our viewers which fits our ongoing strategy to drive new, young audiences in streaming,” Paul Mortimer, ITV’s Director of Reality & Acquisitions and Controller noted in a statement.

“Loaded In Paradise’s heady mix of chase, money, and fun will make for an exhilarating new reality format,” Satmohan Panesar, commissioning editor for ITV, said of the show.

This is not the only reality show set to be filmed in Greece by ITV. The network’s popular “Weekender” series, which follows travelers partying around the world, will be filmed in Kavos on the Greek island of Corfu.

Corfu has become a must-visit place for anyone looking to experience what the Greek Islands have to offer.

Its breathtaking scenery, mountain ranges, and beaches are amongst the most unforgettable in the country, and its blend of cultural histories and influences –French, English, Venetian, and, of course, Greek — will leave you with a unique understanding of how the culture of the Ionian Islands developed.

Of course, it’s also well-known globally for a thriving nightlife scene, making it the perfect set for ITV’s reality show.
