The agreement on establishing the World Health Organization Country Office in Cyprus will be signed on Friday between the Minister of Health, Michalis Hadjipantela, and WHO Regional Director, Dr. Hans Kluge, CNA reports.
The new Country Office, situated in Larnaca, will support the country to achieve its public health goals, such as tackling infectious diseases and non-communicable diseases, and facilitate the sharing of Cyprus’s expertise and experience in health innovation across the WHO European Region.
