The Museum of the Presidential Mansion, showcasing gifts made by foreign visitors to Greek presidents over time, was presented by Greek President Katerina Sakellaropoulou to the press on Wednesday, ANA reports.
Sakellaropoulou has been committed to opening the doors of the Mansion to the public throughout her tenure, and spoke of how moved she was by the enthusiasm visitors to the garden showed, whether individuals or school groups.
She spoke about selected items presented to her and said the gifts included some simpler ones with great sentimental value to her, such as a doll made by a Ukrainian woman that she keeps on her desk.
The Museum is open to the public through guided tours and for more information on the tours, the presidency’s site provides the following numbers: 210-7283 289 and 210-7224 939.
