Agricultural Development & Food Minister Lefteris Avgenakis is carrying out a two-day visit to the island of Rhodes as of Thursday, ANA reports.
The minister was scheduled to arrive at the villages of Laerma and Apollona, which were at the core of the recent wildfires that ravaged the island. There Avgenakis was expected to meet with farmers, livestock breeders, and beekeepers and be briefed on the extent of damages.
