The Greek Language Institute at the Hellenic American Academy in Deerfield, IL is a leader in offering Virtual and In-Person Greek courses to children, teens, and adults, designing semi-private or small groups (3-6 students).
Courses are especially designed to develop students’ confidence in Greek, as every class covers all four language skills: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking. Both In-Person and Virtual group classes are limited to 6 students.
A news release introduced the program through a ‘Meet the Instructor’ message: “Γεια σας! I’m Agapitos Patros and I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in the Faculty
of Letters, Department of Philology, Section of Linguistics, University of Crete. I continued my academic career at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens on Intercultural Education and Practical Applications. Before I even finished my undergraduate degree I knew that my professional career would be active in the field of teaching Greek as a second or foreign language.”
