Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis visited the “Papanikolaou” hospital in Thessaloniki on Saturday and was informed about the restoration project of the second floor of the pulmonology clinic that was destroyed by fire in 2022, ANA reports.
The restoration was done in record time with resources from the Recovery Fund, the prime minister pointed out, adding that it will be handed over for the treatment of the patients as of tomorrow.
“It is a project that was completed within a few months. I want to congratulate the hospital, the technical services, but also all the staff of the Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund (HRADF) who mobilized resources from the Recovery Fund, so that from tomorrow hospitalized patients have access to the best possible health services in a state-of-the-art facility completed in record time,” Mitsotakis stressed.
