Greek universities may hold finals examinations online, Education, Religion and Sports Minister Kyriakos Pierrakakis said on Thursday, following fears that sit-ins against private education will prevent students from sitting for examinations and therefore lose semesters, ANA reports.
Following protests and sit-ins in Greek cities to protest the decision to found private universities and concerns expressed by both students and parents, the minister notified university administrators (the Senate) that they could carry out the procedures online.
