The Meteora Monasteries are among the attractions with the second-best value for money in Europe for 2025, after the Devetashka Cave in Bulgaria, according to a new study by the hotel chain Premier Inn.
The study analyzed data from attractions from around the world (entrance cost combined with tour duration) in order to highlight those with the best value for tourists, that is, where visitors get the most fun per euro.
The findings showed that the Meteora Monasteries, with an entrance fee of 6 euros, and an average tour duration of 5 hours, yields a value (cost per hour) of 1.20 euros.
