The 10th Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup, the world’s most prestigious corporate golf tournament, returned to Athens on September 28, 2025 at Glyfada Golf. The Athens champion will represent the city at the Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup Grand Finals.
The Glyfada event was the 104th of 130 events of this year’s Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup – with the local champions competing in the Grand Finals in Turkey later this year. The winners will advance to the Grand Finals and have the opportunity to play at Gloria Golf Club and stay at Gloria Serenity Resort on the Turkish coast.
Representing Athens, Charilaos Papadopoulos secured the title with 44 points, with Orestis Tziotis in second place and Dimitris Tagalis in third.
The Closest to the Pin competition was won by Michalis Dalakouras for the men and Rachele-Maria Gallaty for the women.
The Gross award was won by Euan Gill with a score of 72.
Since its inception in 2013, the Turkish Airlines World Cup of Golf has now attracted over 10,000 players competing against each other in more than 130
tournaments in 83 countries worldwide.
