This week marks another huge milestone in Thomas Cook’s long career, as it celebrates 175 years since the company’s very first holiday journey. It was July 5th 1841 when a steam train set off on the 12 mile journey from Leicester to Loughborough at the price of just one shilling; and it’s amazing to see just how far it has come come in the 175 years that have followed.
