For the tenth year in a row, excellent feedback from our guests gave us a place among the top 10% of travelers’ favorites. Since we have been consistent winners of the Tripadvisor Travelers’ Choice Award for the last ten years, we are particularly happy to be among the top 4% of businesses worldwide that have received great travelers reviews on Tripadvisor. As challenging as the past 3 years were, Athens Walking Tours thrived by consistently delivering exceptional experiences to its guests.
We are proud to be among the top tour operators worldwide today, having well understood how necessity is the mother of invention. We have learnt to plan and adapt, foresee and re-evaluate. We implemented new technologies taking account of the safety measures and necessary health protocols, we invested in the innovative training of our workforce, and we created new, exciting experiences to meet our guests’ demands within the pandemic. Proactivity and flexibility became second nature in all our efforts and endeavors.

“This award, combined with the achievement of the 9th position amongst the top 20 tour operators in Europe based on review growth, according to Arival, makes us even more accountable and responsible!”, said Mr. Ioannis Giannakakis, CEO and Co-founder of Athens Walking Tours. “We are accountable and most grateful to our visitors who every single day honor us with outstanding feedback, and we owe this important recognition to them, as well as the promise to continue providing excellent service. Of course, first and foremost, we dedicate this award to our hard-working, efficient team: Our remarkable tour guides who go to great lengths to provide outstanding experiences, our skilled back office, our effective operations department, our talented marketing division, and all other service providers who stood and stand by our side, proving to be our greatest asset. Wishing to offer the best possible experience to travelers, we implement intense Operations training programs that make us even more adaptable within the constantly shifting landscape of travelers’ needs.”
