The 7th Castellorizo International Documentary Film Festival “Beyond Borders” will open its curtain with an inspiring opening ceremony on August 21, ANA reports.
The opening film of this year’s event will be “Radiograph of A Family” (IDFA Awards 2020), by acclaimed director Firouzeh Khosrovani. A film of experimental cinematic form and fluid audiovisual representations, which deals with the universal core of human lives: love stories split when personal paths and individual desires no longer converge. And all this against the backdrop of the Iranian Revolution of the late 1970s.
The opening of the photographic exhibition “Attic land welcomes the refugees of ΄22”, renewed especially for the needs of the Festival, organized by the Hellenic Parliament Foundation for Parliamentary and Democracy, will be held, on the same day, by the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Symi, Tilos, Chalkis and Castellorizo Chrysostomos, who will represent the ATHP the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew at the Castellorizo International Documentary Film Festival.
