- A double-digit increase in bookings for the German summer holidays in 2025 compared to the previous year is recorded by the German tour operator Anex. It is recalled that the Anex Group, headquartered in D?sseldorf, owns the Anex Tour, Bucher Reisen, ?ger Tours, and Neckermann Reisen brands.
The first destination with a 20% increase in bookings is Turkey. What is particularly impressive is that “many visitors – especially families – have booked their holidays even earlier than in previous years,” says the Group’s CEO Yasir Karacor. The Group’s tour operators are offering discounts of up to 30% on certain trips that will be booked until the end of March.
As mentioned above, the Group’s top travel destination is T?rkiye (Turkey), followed by Spain and the Greek islands of Crete and Rhodes. Increased demand is also being recorded for holidays in the Algarve in Portugal.
Price increase in July and August
Like other tour operators, the Anex Group brands experienced particularly strong demand for the months of May and June as well as September and October. This is partly due to the sharp increase in prices during the high season.
However, the price increase does not prevent many Germans from booking high-quality accommodation. “We are seeing a growing desire for affordable luxury. New stylish hotels such as Lusso Hotel Sorgun, Royal Atlantis Icon or Seher Side Quality on the Turkish Riviera are in high demand among our guests,” said Mr. Karacor. Albania new destination in the program
A new destination in the Anex program in 2025 is Albania, the honored country at the ITB exhibition.
The destination, which in recent years was the “most famous secret holiday tip in Europe” and was closed to tourism for many years, is now becoming an “increasingly popular” travel destination, says Yasir Karacor. Both beach holidays and city trips in the capital Tirana are offered by Anex.
Expansion of partner accommodations
The Anex Group has also significantly expanded the number of its accommodations this summer. Many additional hotels have been added to the program, especially in Spain, Greece, Turkey, and Portugal. The portfolio has been strengthened by approximately 15% across all destinations.
“However, we are not only growing in breadth, but also in depth by expanding our local offerings with new excursions or additional accommodation types,” said the CEO.
