  • Dispatch from Berlin: Christina Lainopoulou

Alltours is starting the International Travel Fair (ITB) in Berlin with an extremely positive report for the current financial year. The travel agencies alltours and byebye are recording impressive performances in the –to-be-completed– winter season, both in terms of visitor numbers and revenue.

“With an increase in revenue of over 30% and a 20% increase in visitors, we will close the 2024/25 winter season with a new historical record,” said Willi Verhuven, owner of the alltours group, at the company’s official press conference at ITB.

Explosive growth in tourism – Revenue expected to increase by more than 10% for summer 2025

alltours is preparing for an extremely successful summer 2025. “The demand for reservations is more dynamic than ever. In all major destinations, we are recording an increase in both visitors and revenues, with demand remaining at high levels,” notes Verhuven. The classic organized tour (package holiday), which offers travelers comfort, economic benefits, and high security, experienced a new boom last year. In 2025, its popularity is expected to increase even more.

Fixed prices for winter and summer

The prices of package holidays are formed dynamically, depending on the destination and the available flights and hotel units at the time of booking. As was the case in winter, the trend of early bookings continues for summer. Travelers are choosing to book their vacations early, benefiting from discounts of up to 55%.

For the summer of 2025, alltours is recording an average price increase of 3-4% across all destinations, according to CEO Jan Mayer. In the long-haul travel sector, Alltours can also offer many destinations at lower prices for the summer of 2025.

Extensive flight schedule: 4,800 departures per week from 46 airports

In cooperation with more than 50 airlines, alltours offers around 4,800 weekly flights from 46 airports in Europe. The main customer origin markets are Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, and Switzerland, with Germany holding a 90% share.

Luxury all-inclusive packages and long-haul trips in the spotlight – Increasing price sensitivity

Alltours’ summer 2025 program includes over 3,500 luxury hotels, family and Adults Only resorts, wellness hotels, romantic farms, apartments, holiday homes, and theme parks. At the same time, approximately 25,000 additional hotels are available online or through travel agencies.

The company is recording increased demand for luxury 4 and 5 star hotels with all-inclusive services, as well as for luxury long-haul trips, where bookings are increasing by over 50% both in winter and next summer.

Travelers are looking for high-quality, experience-packed vacations without making concessions on comfort and luxury. At the same time, they are particularly price-sensitive and seek maximum value for their money. “alltours is benefiting from this trend, as with 92% brand awareness and a clear focus on high quality at affordable prices, we offer exactly what our customers are looking for,” Verhuven emphasizes.

Record in the previous financial year

The financial year 2023/24, which marked alltours’ 50th anniversary, was the most successful in the company’s history. With a turnover of 2.322 billion euros, alltours recorded an increase of 16%, while the number of visitors reached a historical record of 2.291 million travelers.

Earnings before taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBTDA) amounted to 99.6 million euros, recording an increase of 31% compared to the previous year (76.2 million euros). As in previous years, the profits remain as company capital and are invested in the digital upgrade and expansion of the allsun hotel chain. In addition, a portion is allocated to social programs to support children worldwide.

“This strategic decision underlines alltours’ commitment to sustainable development and long-term success,” concludes Verhuven.

All sectors of the alltours group with positive results

The alltours group includes the travel agencies alltours and byebye, 170 alltours travel centers, the incoming travel agent Viajes allsun in Spain, and alltours Espa?a, which manages 32 allsun hotels in Mallorca, the Canary Islands, Crete, and Turkey.

All sectors of the group contributed to the positive course of the financial year, further strengthening the dynamic growth of alltours.
