Yiannis Papadopoulos
Journalist, member of the Daily Athens Newspaper Journalists Union (ESIEA)
He began his career in 1979 in weekly magazine “Politika Themata”.
From 1981 to 1984 he worked in newspaper “Ethnos” and from 1985 until July 2013 he was tourism editor in daily financial newspaper “Kerdos” while administering the “Kerdoskopos” daily column with economic and stock market content.
He has served as editor of Travel Times, Tourism & Property and Xenia news magazines.
In 1994-1998 he acted as spokesperson of the Athens Stock Exchange and he has also been Press Officer of the Hellenic Association of Travel and Tourist Agencies (HATTA).
In 33 years of journalistic career, he also worked with several weekly and monthly publications such as magazines ENA, AGORA, EVDOMI, Sinchroni Diafimisi, Tourism newsletter, Kampania, etc. as well as various internet portals including tourism related Ltcnews.gr.
