Jet2holidays premiered its “biggest ever advertising campaign” on Christmas Day during Coronation Street, before it aired again within Downton Abbey later in the evening.
Four different TV adverts themed along the operator’s key commercial messages, including free child places and £60 deposits, last 30 seconds each and feature singer Jess Glynne’s number one hit song ‘Hold My Hand’.
The launch advert for the multi-million pound turn-of-year campaign features a mum and dad relaxing on a beach watching their children play in the sea, to coincide with Jet2holidays’ ‘kids go free’ message.
The TV campaign will be supported by radio and outdoor digital advertising, in addition to digital and social activity.
Focussed on brand awareness, it is anticipated that the new creative will help drive footfall into Jet2holidays’ agent partners’ stores.
Agents will have access to point of sale campaign material which will be tailored for the purpose.
