Greek airports passenger traffic increased by 11.5% in January, with the total number of passengers amounting to 1.8 million compared to 1.6 million in January 2015, according to the Civil Aviation Authority’s (YPA) monthly data.
The total number of flights at Greek airports reached 19,890 (of which 12,459 were domestic and 7,431 international) showing an increase of 4.5% (+ 6.1% on domestic flights and + 1.8% on international flights), compared with the same period of 2015 during which 19,035 flights had been carried out.
