A sailboat whose engine failed after taking in water sank between Porto Rafti on Attica and Karystos on Evia on Sunday, with all four passengers having been safely evacuated on Saturday. ANA reports.
The sailboat lost engine power on Saturday afternoon. Its passengers, two men, and two women were picked up by the ferry “Aqua Blue” while two Coast Guard patrol boats and a tourist boat also rushed to the area. The passengers were then transported to the Lavrio port by the Coast Guard.
