Minister of Agricultural Development & Food Lefteris Avgenakis on Tuesday discussed the damaging effect of Greece’s recent wildfires and floods with visiting EU Commissioner for Agriculture Janusz Wojciechowski, ANA reports.
In a statement, the Greek ministry said that Avgenakis told the Commissioner that the European family should now demonstrate its reflexes, build a protective barrier against the climate crisis, and strengthen the European citizens’ sense of trust in the institutions.
