Popular US actress UNHCR’s Goodwill Ambassador Angelina Jolie will visit the island of Lesvos on Tuesday evening, according to Mytilene newspaper “Embros” website and information the later was confirmed by the local authorities.
The actress is expected to arrive in her own private jet and plans to spend time among the refugees, according to local news portal ‘Lesvosnews.gr’. After touching down at the ‘Odysseas Elytis’ airport she will be transported to the hotpots of Moria and Skala Sykamnias.
She is scheduled to stay on the island for two days.
