Greek Deputy Minister of Culture and Sport, Stavros Kontonis, announced on Friday that the Greek football Cup will restart, following the deal agreed on Tuesday with FIFA, UEFA and the Hellenic Football Federation (EPO).
Due to this decision, which must be sent to the World Confederation until Friday midnight, EPO will avoid being suspended from international federations, while FIFA and UEFA will take an active role in reconstructing and modernizing Greek football.
The dates for the remaining cup matches will be decided by EPO. Nevertheless, semi-finals will be held without spectators while tickets for the final won’t be sold and only students will attend the match.
