The 2nd Hieratical Seminar for Priests and Clergy candidates was held at St. Nicholaos retreat, under the auspices of Holly Metropolis of Sweden, in the city of Rattvik, Sweden from May 26 to 29 with the blessings of his Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew.
The seminar, titled ‘The Ecumenical Dimensions of the Priestly Ministry’, focused on the role Orthodox Christian priests can play by approaching the youth and visiting schools. Representatives of the Lutheran Church of Vasteras, Nils Aberg and Roland Sodeberg, as well as the director of the Ecumenical Center of Berget, Peder Bergqvist also delivered speeches.
