Rodrigo Garcia, the Argentinian “enfant terrible” returns to the Athens and Epidaurus festival at Piraeus 260 Hall in Athens with his latest production “4”.
Four actors, tied together with a thin rope like a spider web, wander the stage creating powerful images on a taboo subject: child sexuality.
Garcia combines seemingly unrelated and contradictory elements: the memories of the author from his childhood coexist, among others, with a kind of samurai from Kurosawa’s films, an oversized Marseilles soap and a drone by the sounds of the Fourth symphony.
The performance is scheduled for July 4-5.
