Popular Greek music composer at Athens airport concert

Popular composer Evanthia Reboutsika will bring her music at the Athens airport on Tuesday, July 19th, 2016 at 12:00, in a performance that will take passengers and visitors on a melodious journey with “the colours and aromas of the East and the West”.

Performing extracts from all her well-known works composed for television, for the theatre, and, of course, for the cinema – including her famous melodies for “A Touch of Spice” – Evanthia Reboutsika will be accompanied by talented musicians, Andreas Simvoulopoulos (piano / jazz), Panos Dimitrakopoulos (“kanonaki”), and Vangelis Karypis (drums)

This special performance that has all the ingredients to create a unique airport experience, launches the 4th cycle of the Fly me to the Moon project, an ongoing cooperation between the Athens International Airport and the cultural platform ελculture, that, for the fourth consecutive year, inspires artists to transform airport premises by showcasing their art, through concerts, happenings and theatre projects!

Thus, starting with a much-loved composer, after last year’s “….and Let me Play” cycle that introduced floor games in the terminal, the third verse of the song …”among the stars” (summer 2016 through May 2017) will bring famous artists at the airport!
