Hollywood chooses Greece for holidays once again…
After Leonardo DiCaprio and other celebrities who vacation in Mykonos, another Oscar-winning star, Charlize Theron, elected the Greek island of Crete to spend her summer rest.
The beautiful and talented South African actress arrived the day before yesterday at Heraklion Airport and resided in Elounda where she plans to relax for a few days and celebrate her birthday tomorrow.
In contrast with other Hollywood colleagues, she did not arrive on a private plane or yacht but boarded an Aegean flight from Athens, in first class.
Charlize was accompanied by two small children and another woman, probably the children’s nanny. The group landed at 20.00 on Thursday afternoon in Heraklion and were transported by a Sky service minibus to the Prefecture of Lasithi.
Her trip was unannounced and the plane’s passengers and crew were surprised to see up close the 41-year old film star and ex-model.
Additional reports suggest the group is to be joined later by another well-known actress and good personal friend, who actually recommended Crete as a great vacation destination to Charlize.
