Greek Mayor of Marathon municipality lias Psinakis honoured Hollywood actor Tom Hanks and his Greek-American wife Rita Wilson for their contribution to promoting Greece. In a ceremony that took place in the city Hall Psinakis awarded the famous couple with the Medal of the Legion of Marathon.
The mayor posted a photo of the three on his Instagram profile with the comment: ‘Tom Hanks and the divine Rita Wilson honoured us by accepting the Decorations of the Medals of”Ambassador of Marathon to the World “and the “Legion of Marathon” !! We appreciate so much that you promote and support Greece all these years all over the World!!! We are so proud and obliged !!! Thank you both of you…!!!”
